This competition’s brief was to come up with some novelty product ideas that linked to future trends in the market.

Research focused mainly into pop culture, including movies, TV shows and music, which highlighted certain iconic props and references that would age well into the future.

The final ideas for novelty products included a Pacman ice tray; Marty McFly’s hoverboard-styled skateboard; Superhero phone sleeves; chemistry-set drinking glasses (Flask Glass); Back to the Future Delorean computer mouse and a Breaking Bad RV Toaster.
